Small Business Saturday glass of beer

November 28th is Small Business Saturday.

Dozens of small and independent craft breweries and retailers across the state are inviting you to celebrate local and #SaveTexasBreweries.

For the second year, your purchase of a limited edition artist glass at a participating location supports that small business and the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, the non-profit association advancing the Texas craft beer industry through advocacy and education.

How it Works

Small business following COVID safety protocols

Saturday, November 28, 2020 is Small Business Saturday. Celebrate by visiting a participating small and independent Texas craft brewery, or craft-focused restaurant/beer bar.

This Year’s Glass

Hoo-boy. What a year.

2020 has proven that it’s never been more important to support small businesses. It’s also been a year where Beer-To-Go was the way by which so many Texans procured their local libations, so it’s only fitting that this year’s glass takes the form of a 16oz tall boy can.

Illustrated by Brenham, Texas based artist Carra Sykes, her original design evokes a common 2020 feeling–a question we’ve so often found ourselves asking this year–What day is it?

Bonus Passport Stamp

This Saturday & Sunday only, you can collect a bonus Small Business Saturday passport stamp in our Texas Brewery Explorer app by talking a selfie with your new glass. Here’s how:

  1. Download the app if you don’t have it already and get your glass at a participating business.
  2. Once you get home with your glass*, open up your app and tap “Stamp My Passport.” You should receive a pop-up saying you aren’t near a brewery. Select the option to submit a “Manual Stamp Request.”
  3. Take a selfie of YOU + YOUR GLASS and select #SmallBusinessSaturday from the top of the location list.
  4. Hit ‘Submit’ & wait for your bonus stamp to be approved!

*If you have not yet collected a passport stamp at the brewery where you’re getting your glass, make sure to hit “Stamp My Passport” while you’re there to collect a location-based stamp for that brewery. Then repeat Step #2 to collect your bonus #SmallBusinessSaturday stamp.
