November 25
is Small Business Saturday
To celebrate, nearly 100 small and independent craft breweries and retailers across the state of Texas are inviting you to shop–and sip–local! For the fifth year, your purchase of a limited edition artist glass at a participating location supports that small business and the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, the nonprofit association advancing the Texas craft beer industry through advocacy and education.

How it Works

Saturday, November 25, 2023 is Small Business Saturday. Celebrate by visiting a participating small and independent Texas craft brewery or craft-focused retailer.

Each participating small business will have a LIMITED supply of commemorative artist glasses for sale. Be sure to check their social media for purchase & quantity details.

Support that business and the Texas Craft Brewers Guild! $1+ of every glass supports the association of craft brewers advancing the industry through advocacy and education.
This Year’s Glass
The elements of the design all came from an original set of paintings created by Gabriel Marquez, and are composed to tell a story inspired by dreams and native wildlife in the Chihuahuan desert.
An owl blends into a diurnal daze, as the Texas sun rises every waking minute. A rabbit observes from a guarded distance as two true-love hummingbirds flutter over the sacred Texas Craft Brewers Guild Logo from which the hops, wheat and all things grow. The depth of color in all the distinctive beers define the final aesthetic of the artwork on this glass. The background is poured and filled, creating a dramatic finish with every fill of the delicious crisp craft beers of Texas.

This Year’s Artist
Mystic Desert Studio is an El Paso Texas based studio and gallery that was founded by Gabriel Marquez in 2020, who lives and works in El Paso as a designer and painter. At Mystic Desert Studio, Marquez runs his own contemporary art gallery and design studio where you can find original works from the artist and other local artists from the area. This multifaceted project space is not only used as an artists design studio but a gift shop as well. Local artists can exhibit their artwork on a rotating basis and invite the community to socialize and critique. You can buy original goods such as t-shirts, mugs, stickers, and prints created by Marquez for the Mystic Desert Studio brand. The space brings together creators, art collectors, and art enthusiasts.
