Texas Brews Meet Celestial Views
On April 8, 2024 Texas will be center stage for a rare astrological phenomenon–a total solar eclipse. So rare that the last time a total solar eclipse was visible in Texas was 1978.
During the eclipse, the entire state of Texas will experience at least 80% coverage, with those along the Path of Totality witnessing a total solar eclipse for as long as 4+ minutes.
More than 12 Million Texans already live in the Path of Totality, with as many as 1 Million more travelers estimated to be planning a trip to the Lone Star State to take in the views.
With high quality beers, friendly folks, and wide open beer gardens, Texas craft breweries will make the perfect place for locals and travelers alike to experience the eclipse!

Take the Texas Brewery Passport app with you!
On the day of the eclipse you can collect a bonus passport stamp in our Texas Brewery Passport app by talking a selfie in your eclipse glasses. Here’s how:
- Download the app if you don’t have it already and explore Texas craft breweries!
- When you open up your app on April 8th and tap “Stamp My Passport” you can collect a passport stamp at the brewery you’re watching the eclipse at (if you don’t have one from that brewery already). You can collect an additional stamp for the 2024 eclipse by going to the Events tab, selecting the Toast to Totality event and hitting “STAMP MY PASSPORT.” You should receive a pop-up saying you already have a stamp for the brewery you’re at. Select the option to submit a “MANUAL STAMP REQUEST.”
- Take & attach a selfie rocking your eclipse glasses at the brewery.
- Hit ‘Submit’ & wait for your bonus stamp to be approved!
