Job Description: Brand Ambassador

Zilker Brewing Company is looking for a person who is passionate about craft beer and community. Opened in 2015, we are an urban brewery located in East Austin, TX with a focus on distinctive small batch beers, and a solid core lineup of beer for wider distribution in the Austin metro area. Our brewhouse is a flexible 15bbl system with output around 5000 bbls.  Our values are providing a high quality experience in all aspects of our business, and maintaining a focus on our local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Promotional (primary)

Conducting 3 hour beer demonstrations at local grocery and liquor stores on weekends
Leading weekly events at bars and restaurants around the Austin area

Sales (secondary)

Supporting our sales team occasionally through existing and new account exploration
Checking in with grocery stores and taking orders

Delivery (occasionally)

Deliver beer to on-premise and off-premise locations in central texas
Merchandising retail beer at grocery stores

Skills and Abilities:

Must be outgoing and personable 
Building relationships with customers through effective communication and customer service
Ability to lift and move cases of beer (approximately 25 lbs) as well as manipulate and move kegs ranging up to 140 lbs.
Must live within the Austin Area.
Passion for craft beer and general knowledge and understanding of beer styles
Strong communication skills
Good interpersonal skills, including professionalism with a customer service focus
Good time management, planning and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
Must have a clean DMV record and a current and valid Texas Drivers License.

Pay: Full time hourly

Starts at $18 per hour
