Two Docs Brewing is hiring a full time Cellar person / Brewer to add to our growing team. Two Docs is a production brewery and taproom in Lubbock, Texas. We are 2 and 1/2 years old and have 150 draught placements and several retail outlets for package sales. We have a busy taproom and are on pace to produce increasing volumes in the future. We are looking for someone to help grow the business, maintain consistency, participate in quality control, maintenance, sales, and brewery events. Lubbock is a growing city with a very reasonable cost of living and a nice quality of life. Traffic is not problematic, housing is affordable, humidity is low, and the Mountain West is a mere 5 hours away.

Job Description: This position will work directly with the head brewer and will be involved in all aspects of the brewery. These aspects include but are not limited to the following:

–       Wort Production
–       Daily CIP and maintenance
–       Cellaring, Dry Hopping, Tank Transfers
–       Yeast Management
–       Carbonating, Canning/ Kegging, Keg Washing
–       Draft Line Maintenance and Cleaning
–       Follow all safety guidelines and SOPs
–       Keep facilities clean and organized.
–       Any other necessary tasks

As a part of a small team, this position may also be asked to represent the brewery at various events, conferences and professional organizations, or in the taproom. The right candidate will also display all or some of these characteristics:

The job is very physically demanding, applicants should have the following:

– Ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, crawl, twist, turn, lift, kneel, climb ladders and stairs.
– Ability to comply with safe chemical handling procedures, including personal protection equipment such as gloves and goggles. You will work with hazardous chemicals.

Compensation based on experience.
