About the role:
You will perform daily brewing and cellar operations on a 4 vessel, 20Bbl automated Deutsche Beverage brew house with decoction capability. The cellar consists of 20, 40, 60 Bbl CCF’s and Brite tanks; 40 Bbl Lagering Tanks; 20, 40 Bbl Foeders and an HVAC controlled barrel room. Brewers at Talyard are responsible for many tasks from grain to Brite. The brewery production area is climate controlled. The position requires a willingness to train in a diverse set of skills throughout the brewing process.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in brewing, preferably minimum one year of production experience at a brewery (or similar operation)
Strong track record of progression within the industry
An unwavering passion for craft beer and a deep commitment to quality.
Strong knowledge of brewing equipment and processes.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
An eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to a dynamic brewing schedule.
Proficiency with MS office, and basic computer skills.
Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures.
Must be 21+ years of age.
Licensed to drive and access to reliable transportation.
