Texas Brewers Take National Stage at Great American Beer Festival

Texas brewers garnered national attention at this year’s Great American Beer Festival after taking home an impressive 21 medals for individual beers in the competition, plus two prestigious Brewery of the Year awards for Austin Beer Garden Brewing (Large Brewpub of the Year) and Saint Arnold Brewing Company (Mid Size Brewery of the Year Award).

This was Texas’s best showing yet at the annual beer competition where it was the third most decorated state by medal count. Only the much more brewery-dense states of California and Colorado took home more medals.

Congratulations to Texas craft brewers on making a big splash at GABF! We’re proud to see our breweries getting more and more recognition on the national stage, especially for beers that are only available right here in Texas!
