Happy American Craft Beer Week from the Guild

May 16, 2016

American Craft Beer Week (May 16-22, 2016) is officially underway, and there will no doubt be thousands of events across the country to celebrate the small, independent breweries putting quality, creativity, and craftsmanship into every glass. Here in Texas is no exception, here are a few ways you can join in on the fun…

Make Small Beer Big

This year, the Brewers Association is spearheading a unique campaign to #MakeSmallBeerBig with a 50-state collaboration beer. Nationwide, 100 breweries have brewed a special beer, with an identical recipe, to celebrate the collective power of the American craft brewing industry.

In Texas, Freetail Brewing Company and Red Horn Coffee House and Brewing Co., have answered the call. Make sure to follow them on social media to find out when you can stop by their taprooms to try this unprecedented celebratory brew.

Visit a Local Brewery This Week

American Craft Beer Week is a great time to visit a new brewery in your neighborhood, or hit the road for the ultimate brewery road trip.

With texascraftbrewersguild.org’s new interactive map feature, you can browse by region—or explore on your own—to find our Brewery, Brewpub and Retail members all across the state.
